Tim M. Clancy is among the most well‑respected trial lawyers in the Dallas‑Fort Worth area for over fifteen years. He applies his knowledge and experience to aggressively defend his clients in State and Federal Court. Clancy began his career as a state prosecutor in the District Attorney’s Office, where he honed his trial skills and gained invaluable experience. He joined his father, prominent criminal defense attorney Kevin Clancy, in 2007. Tim Clancy’s law practice handles cases on a variety of levels: misdemeanor, juvenile, felony, and Federal all over the State of Texas. Tim’s uncompromising, honest, and straightforward approach produces tremendous results. He is a graduate of Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, Texas Tech University and South Texas College of Law in 2002.

Tim has been recognized by The Dallas Morning News and The Fort Worth Star-Telegram for his defense of a TCU professor in a high-profile case that resulted in a dismissal of all charges.

Kevin J. Clancyrepresented clients in complex criminal matters in Federal and State courts for more than 40 years. While he received media attention for representing many high-profile clients through the years, he received many more favorable outcomes everyday that went unnoticed.

Kevin began his career working with Frank Wright and Charles Tessmer, two of the most prestigious lawyers practicing criminal law in DFW. When Mr. Wright retired, Kevin formed an association with James A. Rolfe, former U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Texas, and Jay Ethington, former assistant U.S. attorney. In 2007, Kevin formed the office association Clancy & Clancy Attorneys at Law until he passed away in May 2013. He was a graduate of Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, SMU and SMU Law School in 1970.

Kevin was recognized nationally in the media for his successful representation of individual Dallas Cowboys, including drug charge defense in Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin’s case.
