Misdemeanor Record

Whether you are charged as an adult or juvenile, a misdemeanor-conviction can deny you employment and stigmatize you as a criminal. Misdemeanor Defense Attorneys Kevin and Tim Clancy specialize in the defense of people accused of misdemeanors and fight to get the optimum result for each case.

A misdemeanor should be taken seriously because a conviction may result in a criminal record. A misdemeanor likely will show up on a background check. Once you are convicted or plead guilty, it can remain on your record forever.

Being accused or convicted of a misdemeanor can have devastating effects on your life. For misdemeanor-crimes, an experienced misdemeanor lawyer can make the difference between a guilty verdict and exoneration.

A misdemeanor case that results in a not-guilty verdict or that is dismissed or reduced to a Class C deferred adjudication may be eligible for an expunction. A misdemeanor-case that is a Class A or Class B deferred adjudication may be eligible for ruling of nondisclosure of criminal history.
